Near­ly all de­posits in tank­ers, con­tain­ers and tank wa­g­ons can be re­moved by high-pres­sure wa­ter. Con­ven­tio­n­al clean­ing of con­tain­ers and tanks of all types is in many cas­es very time con­sum­ing and the re­sults are not al­ways sat­is­fy­ing.

Re­ac­tors and au­to­claves, con­tain­ers, bar­rels, rail­road cars and road tank­ers from vari­ous in­dus­try branch­es have to be cleaned and re­cy­cled. Wher­ev­er in­dus­trial pipes, pipe as­sem­blies, valves or hous­ings must be ab­so­lute­ly tight the leak in­tegri­ty is test­ed with test pumps.
