URA­CA high pres­sure piston pumps API 674 - Most efficient marathon runners

URA­CA high pres­sure pumps are de­signed in com­pliance with API 674 for pump­ing tox­ic and flammable fluids at cont­in­u­ous op­er­a­tion. The par­tic­u­lar ad­van­tage of th­ese pumps is the high and con­s­tant vol­u­met­ric ef­fi­cien­cy al­low­ing eco­nom­i­cal op­er­a­tion, in­de­pen­dent from flow rate and op­er­at­ing pres­sure.

The re­cip­ro­cat­ing pump se­ries cov­er a pow­er range up to 1,300 kW for max­i­mum ca­pac­i­ties of 300 m³/h and op­er­at­ing pres­sures of 3,000 bar.
Plunger pumps for the oil & gas and petro­chem­i­cal in­dus­try can be used for a va­ri­e­ty of ap­pli­ca­tions. URA­CA pumps meet the de­mands of typ­i­cal up and down­stream ap­pli­ca­tion fea­tures, whether as hy­dro­stat­ic test pres­sure pumps for pipe­lines and well ser­vice or as in­jec­tion pumps for salt wa­ter, gly­col, methanol and su­per­crit­i­cal CO2 and for wash wa­ter and ca­t­alysts in the crack­ing pro­cess.

Pro­cess pumps at fluid tem­per­a­tures of up to 350° C used for the gasi­fi­ca­tion pro­cess of oil resi­dues (IGCC) and the coal to liquid pro­cess (coal liq­ue­fac­tion) have long proved their ex­cel­lent marathon con­di­tions – 25,000 op­er­at­ing hours be­tween ser­vice in­ter­vals are not an ex­cep­tion.

Long-stand­ing life and re­li­a­bil­i­ty are based on an ex­act de­sign and siz­ing of pump and com­po­nents. URA­CA us­es pul­sa­tion dam­pers sub­ject to the re­flec­tion prin­ci­ple, so-called re­s­o­na­tors. The dam­pers are with­out in­ter­nals, which means that they are main­te­nance-free, thus ex­ceed­ing cus­tomer’s ex­pec­ta­tions by far.
