URACA high pressure pumps are designed in compliance with API 674 for pumping toxic and flammable fluids at continuous operation. The particular advantage of these pumps is the high and constant volumetric efficiency allowing economical operation, independent from flow rate and operating pressure.
The reciprocating pump series cover a power range up to 1,300 kW for maximum capacities of 300 m³/h and operating pressures of 3,000 bar.
Plunger pumps for the oil & gas and petrochemical industry can be used for a variety of applications. URACA pumps meet the demands of typical up and downstream application features, whether as hydrostatic test pressure pumps for pipelines and well service or as injection pumps for salt water, glycol, methanol and supercritical CO2 and for wash water and catalysts in the cracking process.
Process pumps at fluid temperatures of up to 350° C used for the gasification process of oil residues (IGCC) and the coal to liquid process (coal liquefaction) have long proved their excellent marathon conditions – 25,000 operating hours between service intervals are not an exception.
Long-standing life and reliability are based on an exact design and sizing of pump and components. URACA uses pulsation dampers subject to the reflection principle, so-called resonators. The dampers are without internals, which means that they are maintenance-free, thus exceeding customer’s expectations by far.
