URACA Pupils Academy - Way forward

Within the framework of the student academy of the Graf-Eberhard-Gymnasium (GEG) in Bad Urach, URACA was able to welcome interested young people this year. They were given insights into the variable parts production and impressive vertical range of manufacture of the company.
A special focus was on the presentation of engineering work and the corresponding working environment.
The students experienced a varied program with exciting lectures, information about technical training and courses of study in mechanical and courses of study in mechanical engineering as well as direct insights into various departments and workplaces. The highlight was the assembly of hand-operated test pumps under expert guidance, followed by a pressure test.

In this way, the exciting topic of "pumping" could be brought closer to the students, and to give them initial impulses for their career choice and studies.
