Uraca pump unit RS629E for large container cleaning in EX areas

The EX-unit designed for zone 2 II B T4 is equipped with a 710 kW electric motor and has an upstream booster pump to increase the suction pressure of the main pump.
This pump unit is used to operate a fully automatic cleaning lance system for cleaning reactors.
The associated control elements and a wide range of accessories were supplied by URACA for this major project.
A total of 32 lance systems are operated with 2 of these large pump units, which are used for cleaning in 8 reactors.
